I am not sure I believe this report........I find it very coincidental that just as its looking like its time to get out, suddenly we have a reason to stay and fight. No doubt the timing and wording is suspect .... but I believe it. And I think it might be aimed at our "enemy" and our Afghan "allies" more than a domestic audience. Suddenly, if the war lords and regular folks might get rich, having the good ole USA around, rather than the backward Taliban, might not be a bad idea.
