Dragon Boat festival here in Shanghai plus Expo 2010. The shops are full of Chinese consuming like there is no tomorrow. Streets are clean. People are polite. Traffic well disciplined. 1 Kg gold bars sold in the ground floor at the entrance of the malls. No special security. Vehicle fleet is new. Avenues and streets are new and wide. People look happy urban population look very much younger. (not like Germany I first went in 1984) Well dressed too. Prices are very good and my wife is shopping until dropping.
