USD and other fiat currencies of the world are toast. after already losing 97% of its value since the inception of the federal reserve bank around 1913, the depreciation continues.

even if the USD can double in value here, (canned laughter / dead cat bounce) ,..., that would hardly change the massive loss in buying power already lost.

PMs have already decoupled from the USD. There are days when gold goes down, and the buying power of gold or silver will increase on the very same day.

the value of PMs may be looked at as a function of net selling and buying of each PM, and the change in value of the USD.
