I think the problem is that some of us bought LUNN in anticipation of short term gains. I did not like the price I got on LUNN - $1.59 in one of the flurries of excitement two months ago. I watched it every day sitting below what I paid for it. Sometimes a lot below. Sometimes teasingly just below. I watched LUNN ripple day after day... 1.46 1.53 1.46 1.37 1.46 1.53. But I could handle it because I was waiting for the big exciting merger day.

So the big day comes, and for me, it's been a big disappointment. All the screwups were fun for a couple of days and I stupidly thought my ATPX shares would magically appear in my portfolio and still be worth $16-17 or more.

Well, my portfolio shows I own 1000 shares of "?" @ $0. After finally contacting the reorg guy at Discover today, I find I could sell my invisible ATPX by phone. But, right now, ATPX sitting at the equivalent of LUNN mid-ripple, below my purchase price again.

I agree with the "surprise party" metaphor but would add that I feel like I was hiding in a closet, and the door wouldn't open from the inside when the Domino's guy showed up!
