As Johnson & Johnson learned with Tylenol and Jack in the box with E-coli, you have to be up front and honest from the get go. The two above learned the hard way and suspect it forever changed their corporate culture. The problem I have with BP is they've already had corporate crises with the Texas City refinery deaths, maintenance problems at Prudhue Bay, Alaska and Thunder-donkey. They obviously haven't learned a fricken thing.
