It's oil executives opportunity to make their extortion threat to America. You need us more than we need you

I loved one Congressman asking about China drilling off Cuba- which is FL- so why bother with US regulation? One loaded question after another trying to take the heat off big oil.
He sounded like an atty for the defendant, not the plaintiff

Well, the military is just a disguised form of welfare make-work, mostly. That extends into all of the military-industrial complex workers. We just don't need it at it's current size.

If we're going to create make-work jobs, why not shift to infrastructure or green energy? Why unneeded jobs devoted to death and destruction?
