How Not to Park Your Jetski in Your Van Too close to home - when I lived in Long Beach CA a friend and I went fishing in my 18' boat using his 2-wheel drive Ford Ranger (small) truck and used the launch over by the QE2 and the Spruce goose airplane (at that time). We were out night fishing and didn't check the tides so when we finished at 3am with a boat full of Mackerel we found the water very low. So the ramp was extra splippery due to the exposed algae. He said no problem and next thing we knew his truck was sliding into the ocean - took us five hours and two tow trucks to get home - gave all the fish to some local mexicans fishing on the pier. I find those ramp videos funny, but I feel bad for my friends total loss on his at the time new truck - he was in college (long beach state) from Hawaii and had to call daddy in Hilo to let him know he needed a new truck. On the upside he got an F-150 with 4wd this time and we never had any trouble after that.
