go ahead and explain why and try not to selfishly look at it from how it affects the USA. Well.. we could just take the view that yourself, BC, Rogue, and Slider purvey.. Y'all claim the US created these Jihadist militants (Salafist AND Shi'ite) that are oppressing the people of the region. Therefore, it stands to reason that we have an obligation to assist those oppressed individuals to have the means and wherewithal to fight them. They can't even peacefully protest anymore, out of fear of being arrested, or killed. upi.com I don't see any difference between what France did for the American revolutionaries and what we should be doing for the Iranians. However, I will say that I prefer we not introduce US soldiers on Iranian territory if it is at all avoidable. And then you can take my point of view.. We have two disparate religious factions, each of them becoming more and more radicalized. We can not force one side to moderate when they can claim that the other faction is not. Shi'tes don't much care for Salafists, and certainly most Arabs don't care much for Persians (and vice versa). We in the west don't need their conflict breeding a whole new generation of religious militants. I don't like the idea of brain dead military people form the USA bringing their venereal diseases and loose morals to other pure societies as did Captain Cook Is that why you're so angry? You DO KNOW they have cure for most of that stuff now, right? You need not suffer.. Of course, I guess it depends on if you were punting or receiving. Hawk
