Oh the mighty disappointment that is coming for the promoters of huge numbers and fantastic doom projections.

Lord - when the world goes on - will the crisis be wasted - or used to drive us further into financial ruin?

LOL. Keep it up B_C.

I want to see BP well below $30 tomorrow so I can do a little more scalping.

Congratulations. You found a report on some obscure website, prepared by a Russian explorer, diver, submarine pilot and friend of Matt Simmons.
Sounds like the perfect person to be reporting on Macondo.
Why not get Jacques Cousteau's son to weigh in as well?

"reports of oil seeps nearby."
Well, duh!
Oil companies drill near seeps because that is where the oil is.
The real question that should be asked is, "was the oil seep there before they started drilling at Macondo?"

Thanks for posting more noise,
S&P

The Russians did not go down there. There are no "Sisters of Sorcha Faal." The Russians were not contracted to go down there. There was no report prepared for Putin as cited. All of the other quotes like from Matt Simmons and Senator Nelson (widely available on the Internet) did not get their information from the Russians. Plant life is not dying yet from dispersant rain, although marine life is. "Sorcha Faal" i.e. David Booth also wrote another piece about the dispersant rain that hasn't come to pass. He also wrote a piece that drew upon the North Korean minisub idea and tried to fabricate a story that it was the North Korean's that blew up Deepwater Horizon. That last story about the North Koreans never took hold because there is enough evidence now showing the culpability of mainly BP and to a lesser extent Transocean. As is the case with all of "Sorcha Faal" stories over time they end up being false propaganda. "Sorcha Faal" stories have been published in EU Times and other Pravda and Russian propaganda sites. David Booth does usually weave a bit of fact into his stories. In this case it is that the cement wall of this oil well near the surface of the ocean floor has indeed been pierced and oil is leaking out from the well through the floor of the Gulf in that area. That much is true.
