odumbo wants the oil crisis to continue so he could take over the oil companies... There was nothing but a pack of lies in this speech... platitudes from an arrogant pseudo intellectual with no sense of executive leadership in crisis... he wants the crisis to go on so that he can take over the oil companies, disband them and use their money to distribute to his "green" friends while consolidating his control... this speech was designed to anesthetize the American people into believing he is not the tyrannical dictator he plans to become... odumbo said, "I will meet with the chairman of BP and inform him that he is to set aside whatever resources are required to compensate the workers and business owners who have been harmed as a result of his company's recklessness." Since when can the federal government declare by fiat that a private company must pay money to anyone? Isn't that a matter for a civil lawsuit? Or, at least, a settlement to which both parties agree? This idiot doesn't exercise the power of the presidency in matters that are his responsibility, but he is quick to issue directives that exceed even the legal authority of the president of the United States... in his speech, he also stated that we are running out of places to drill on land and in shallow water... huh? Can you say continental shelf off the coast of California (which could really use the oil revenue)? And how about drilling ANWR NOW? We probably have energy resources in all 57 (he thinks there are 57 States) States, this guy is a complete moron, he doesn't even know how many State there are in the country, will someone please fit him for a straight jacket and remove him for office ASAP?
