[Interday Scans] Hi, Ray .... Very interesting. Are you using one of the quote service scans for these or is this your own home "brew" ??
(Speaking of "brews" ... I was having a Honey Porter last night and noticed one of the ingredients was 'fuggles' ... and was reminded you used that word in one of your posts. Don't know what 'fuggles' are ... but I like Sam's Honey Porter.)

At any rate, back to scans / intraday data ... I just signed up with IQ Suite (one of the programs that was driving me nuts ... Grrrrrr) and they have an interesting chart feature where you can periodically bring the day's data into the chart. I've only been able to use it as of today ... pretty neat feature!

Also, I asked you a TA question on a prior post. This pertains to a stock off of yesterday's list. I'm confused by the contrast in indicators. What I'm reading is an "oversold" situation and I'm not sure if that's correct. Seems like there might be more going on here than meets the eye. Just looking for an experienced perspective.
(If I had enough "chutzpah" ... I just might buy the stock).

Thanks,

Carol

ANSN/ANSNU - This one looks very interesting. Ansan Laboratories is a very thinly traded stock up until yesterday. There was an increase on significant volume for this stock. I called the company and was told that a merger would become effective at the end of the month with Discovery Laboratories (a privately held company). This sparked my interest so I did a little investigating. Turns out that there are only 1.4Million shares in the float.

This is a Nasdaq stock so I know the experts here could help me out.
Charts look good to me.

Any insights?

Jodi

Ray, could you please comment on your settings for your indicators? For example, what time setting do you use for Big Sto? What kind of stochastics indicator is it? What software do you use? (I have Metastock)

Thanks. Jan
