pax, even if gold tanks, it will likely be worth more than the US zero buck. there are so many ways to screw the citizenry - just look at what these criminals have been doing to 3rd world countries for many decades.

i also think there is a good chance gold holds its value within reason - +/- 30%.

very dangerous times.
