I don't think any doors should be closed when we are up against such monumental challenges. That doesn't mean the white house should have open lines but certainly there should be a method for taking ideas from all corners of the globe, filtering them and synthesising them into a hierarchy of contingent solution alternatives. I just assume that kind of thing is already going on but I could be wrong.

She does not even know that the main reason for not having foreign entities helping to stop the leak is that there is a law that disallow foreign operators to work on drilling platforms and rigs in American jurisdiction.
