I don't believe it, but things sure have turned out dfferently than we expected. We did expect that list to be taken care of according to our liberal ideals. We did exepect the torturers to be prosecuted, a public option, Wall street chastised, etc. When Obama first took office I was so sure he was going to take care of mainstreet in the housing crises, I chastised a bank that came over to tell us the new mortgate programs for people. I kept asking, but where are the new streamlined programs to help homeowners that Obama mandated? As it turns out there were none and I looked like a damn fool. Go back and listen to Obama's promises on the stump. And today it is much harder to get a loan or refinance than it ever was and little to no help for mainstreet. I deal in this every day.
