Rig jobs pay much better than fishing....so its a win win. When all the oil is gone, we can then return the Gulf to a clean body of water and restock it with fish. Sound good?...>> I don't think so...consider the size of the tourism industry in all of the Gulf coast states...Florida alone has a $60 Billion/year tourism industry (and much of that requires clean beaches and clean water)...Many more jobs are tied up in the tourism industry than in the offshore drilling business.
