You can't possibly understand the word of God or His ways. Neither could anyone under the law who committed a willful sin enter the Temple or find atonement under the law. They were labeled "sinners", they were outcasts. This was to show the people their need for Jesus and to prepare the hearts of these people for Him. They were in need of the physician and He came and healed them.
