Just because everyone here is convinced something bad will
happen is not a contrary indicator. In fact, look back at the
Kahuna thread for the weekend before that last Monday
debacle. You would find us all posting like mad, and getting
ready for a bear party. On the other hand, the rebound the
next day caught most of us by surprise.

As for me, I have been able to correctly predict 15 of the last
four major market declines, and I will now attempt to push
my batting average even better (i.e. lower) by predicting a
major decline for tomorrow. If correct, I will then be at 16
of the last five declines.

By the way, Japan just said goodbye to 16000, and HongKong
same to 10000.

Ladies and Gentleman, I do not think that we are going down 550 tomorrow, I doubt we will reach 350 down, that is not in the scenario until Monday, really guys shape up, you can't just throw a monkey wrench into my plans after all the efforts put into these plans? (VBG).

We'll be down alright (I think) and 7600 will be taken out, but technical failures just do not come at once, that is why I said starting down Wed. afternoon, mildly down Thursday but accelerating (which the Naz did very nicely) and hit hard below 7600 oin Furday, I really did not think of more than about 100 to 150 Dow points on Friday. But the reason for the Monday melt down in the said scenario was the dawning on slightly more folks that buying the dips mightbe dangerous. When everyone will know that, that is when it might be safe to get back intostock, but right now only a minority of readers of this thread knows to step out of the way of a freight train. The majority of stock holders are going to play catching falling knives and will be busy tomorrow stoping the calamity expected here.

I say no more than 250 dow points down tomorrow and more likely just 180.

Dan

They can't close it that way. They have to follow the extant rules.
