I don't regret voting for O. But I won't regret voting against him if he does not live up to my expectations as well as how he has fared in balance. Also I care more for the competency of the executive position (rather than voting along political lines) so the opponent might have to equally good or better than O in that regard for me to vote against BO.
Too early I think. 2 1/2 years is an eternity in politics.

I never supported Bush. Never his wars, his housing bubble bragging, open borders, spending bills, his FED chairmen (Greenspan and Berspanky), Hank Paulson, WS cronies...nada...

I suggest we concentrate on the task at hand and those currently in a position to really screw things up.

Bush came with a lower ceiling. If you were disappointed with Obama after he had promised changes, you might still get a little reform. With Bush, you get nothing.

I regret like hell that I voted for Bush Jr in 2000, but I refused to vote for him again in 2004. In addition, I am very happy I voted for Obama, even though he is disappointing in many regards, because McCain and Palin would have been an unmitigated disaster for this country.

With Obama, we threw him in there to solve a million little problems a score of VERY big problems. We shouldn't be surprised that he didn't turn out to be the 2nd coming of Jesus. He's just an intelligent man doing the best he can in a very corrupt system.
