I don't know maybe the demonic power of big oil reaches across party lines . The Pickens plan is great on so many fronts - better for the environment - the extraction is safer and NG burns cleaner, trade deficit since the US has a huge domestic supply , national security and its implementation can provide a massive domestic job stimulus. I thought Obama wanted to put Americans back to work - here is his chance! I don't understand why anyone would oppose it. I suspect even Bentway would love it -g-
