If you say Obama is right of center. then he sold us folks who are left of center a bill of goods. Obama campaigned on a left of center platform.

He promised we liberals the changes we were looking for e.g. closing down Gitmo, a return to the rule of law, getting us out of war, taking care of the torturers, reigning in wall street, a public option, and a substantive change from Bush's neo con policies.

So maybe we should find a new candidate for 2012. A left of center candidate. Like we did with LBJ.

If I remember right, I ended up somewhere left of Nader on that chart. Been a few years now though. I'd probably get different results if I took it again.
