I never lie. You, on the other hand...

This turns on what is considered 'deep water'. It isn't a technical term and it is all over the place. If you take the definition of 400 feet or more, then there are a lot more than 50. If you are talking about 5000 feet, then my number stands.

There are platforms that are in as much as 2000 foot of water. They are a lot safer than drill ships and semi-submersibles. Which is really what is under discussion.
