What does it matter? You play this game where you work diligently to make the two parties equal so you don't have to second guess yourself when you vote R. Its a very common game that many Rs play......my cousin included.

In reality the Dems have a much broader constituency than the Rs who cater primarily to affluent, white folk. The range of issues that concern the Dems is much wider and more concerned with the little guy than those trumpeted by Rs. Are there incompetent Dems? Of course......but nothing like we see in the GOP. Are there corrupt Dems.......definitely but again nothing like the sh*t going on in the Republican party.

Nonetheless, nothing I say will change your opinion because you vote with your wallet. You believe that the Rs will keep taxes down and that's your ultimate goal. Smaller gov't, sense of entitlement, socialism, et al are buzz words Rs use to mask whats really the issue.....they want to contribute as little as possible to the economic well being of their communities.

What's so very infuriating is that Rs have been very capable of fooling the general public for decades as to what their real aspiratoins are. And that's what's unraveling now and why the brand is so badly damaged. With each passing week, the curtain hiding the wizard of oz gets pulled away a little bit more and the American public sees more and more the corrupted heart of the GOP. Joe Barton was the latest example. The Rs keep walking into sh*t because that's what they are.

But you know all of this......none of this is news. And you don't care. You will be an R the day you die.
