Too much fear and illogical thinking lately.

1. ASND had one bad quarter. Delays in shipping during slow 3rd Q. Now revenue growth is preciding at single digits to be picked up at double digits in the second half 98. That should be 40% revenue growth for all of 1998. I listened with amazement this morning when CNBC said ASND will have 10% revenue growth next year and for the next few years! I guess their doing the market makers dirty work! This is starting to sound like the regional
turbo-prop scare of late 1994 and 1995...where uninformed news was blasting the airwaves at all angles, that lasted 6 months.
2. I spoke with ASND again yesterday evening. They are comfortable with the 4th Q estimates and the full year 1998 estimates. That means they are CONFIDENT of at least $1.20 next year. My model still reads $1.25 to $1.35 for 1998. It also means that growth could be accellerating towards the 2nd half of 1998.
3. The Tolley comparision with ASND verses COMS this week and ASND equipment dominating. ASND told me that the results of CSCO 5300 and ASND MAX TNT would be released sometime next week. They are confident of the results just like the ISP's have been!
4. IBM announces sub $1000 PC...Do you think people will buy it for Christmas and LOG ON? Who is going to build all that backbone stuff?
5. Gateway 2000 announces internet access for $12.95. What will happen if internet access goes for $9.95 a month? Cheap PC's and cheap internet access means big build outs for ASND equipment.
6. AOL crashes again and gives GTE (BBN) 1.2 Billion to fix it (500 Million now). Who do you think will fix AOL? Ask ASND?
7. Asia currency makes semiconductor chips from their region, thus lowering the cost of a PC for US, Japan, and Europe. Do you think maybe Acer computer could lead the charge for a sub $500 PC. Do you think Wall Street will catch on to this and dump their PC stocks in favor of Network stocks? I think its happening now because CSCO is hitting new highs and refuses to pull back. What does this really mean? It means when the market stabilizes and
starts to move higher...network stocks will become the new leaders...especially ones with Internet exposure...rotation my friend!

Hold on and when this thing turns, we could see new highs in 18 months. This is like buying DELL at 20. Keep the faith. Fear is winning for now but greed is about to rear its beautiful head!
Hang on!
