Since we were debating SS on this thread before, thought I'd post a good article on the farce that SS is, as well as what it would actually take to balance our budget. Bottom line = we're screwed.

Here's a chart that I keep updated that compares the WLI to the SP500. The latest readings are ominous. The UCL and LCL are +/- 3 sigma around the mean:
