Yes, I wish he would have talked me into buying gold instead of QQQ back then. Luckily, it was only a very small purchase.

Nice chart, showing the price of the Dow in gold. I wonder if it will get all of the way down to the levels of the early '80's...

Can you imagine if on my birthday my wife surprised me with a concubine? The notions are about as equally ridiculous and meaningless. I don't know how you can take some selective hindsight point and bother to relate it to Brinker? The fact is Bob has been pretty much bullish since 1980 when gold on that 1/25 was $876. So since then over those 30 years gold is up less than 50% while the Dow has gained over 1,000% or well over a 10 bagger. Forgetting about Brinker, gold has been a miserable investment compared to the market and it frankly seems to be around bubble territory to me at this time.
