What the hell is the Jones act? re: Berms and cleanup.....why are the locals getting off their asses and getting out on the beach an cleaning up without be told to do it waiting to get paid?? Why are they shuffling around with a plastic bag and a shovel? There are faster and more efficient ways to do with manual labor... Why is BP wasting that oil that will make us independant of foreign oil by burning it? Why can't it be used?? Because of the dispersant in it???? And let's hear the Repub's do something except grandstanding and praising BP.... Tell Jindal if he wants berms just go and build them......a town in Florida has taken the bull by the horns and said if we've broken the law we'll deal with it later... How many barrels a day now??? 5,000, 10,000????
