The uber-power elite are not concerned with important things like cultural preservation, the conservation of natural resources and wildlife, the advancement of the conservative principles of Western Civilization, or demanding that rewards precipitate from legitimately-earned merit and ability rather than skin color and affirmative action. Indeed, the power-elite would whore their own mothers, wives, and daughters for a dollar or a vote. You know the kind of person I am referring to. We all do. No, BP's leaders do not care if the Gulf of Mexico is turned into a lifeless, toxic body of oil awash with the floating carcasses of dead animals. They do not care if the lives of tens of thousands of families have been ruined or that countless more will suffer greatly in the decades ahead as a direct or indirect consequence of their oil spill. Only profits matter! What about the greedy, self-serving nitwits in Washington -- on ALL sides of the imaginary aisle? They only see this as a political "crisis opportunity" to prey on the weak-minded imbeciles, just as Rahm Emanuel stated. Oh, they care that the sheeple perceive and believe that they care, but, in their hearts, they do not give a damn. Yes, the all-important yacht race is what matters to the BP power-elite today, just like B. Hussein's golf game is important to the illegal alien African who masquerades as the POTUS. The consequences of the oil spill be damned! Perhaps such selfish traits are prerequisites to becoming uber-powerful. Perhaps a complete and utter selfishness coupled with the ability to deceitfully feign compassion for others in order to manipulate them for personal gain is what generates success as we define it. After all, that is what religious figures, politicians, and the power elite do best. This will all end very badly someday, IMHO. </rant>
