Yes, it's all about redistribution for expansion of his voter base .. and little about productivity and expansion of the economy. I think Obama just sees redistribution as a means to perpetual power and entitlements to him and his masters

Obama just sees redistribution as a means to perpetual power and entitlements I think generally there are 2 types of far lefties. One type consists of profoundly cynical and corrupt people who love power and the good life. Most old Soviet leaders belonged to that group. Another type are people who are muddleheaded thinkers - and to some extent "true believers". I think Obama loves power, and yet he belongs to the second group. The fact that he is somewhat sincere in his fuzzy "proto-socialist" thinking doesn't make our predicament any better. In fact, it's worse, since it makes him a more effective salesman.
