Republicans definitely need to re-define themselves. They are loaded with old cronies beholding to PAC money.

Sorry, but I will not vote for a R again until I see some significant changes in the party. I voted for a Republican in 2008....the AG of WA state who ran on a platform that he was not partisan. But true to form, he joined the recent lawsuit against health care reform in a NY second without even consulting the governor who was AG before she became governor. The same dude wants to run for governor. I'd rather waste my vote and vote for a Green than vote for him or any other R.

IMO voting for an R at this point only encourages the malaise that inflicts that party.

All that the Republicans have demonstrated so far is that they are good at saying "No". That does not sound like a good healthy opposition. The people decided in 2008 that they should play the role of a "healthy opposition." I have opined that they did not play their role of being a good opposition. How can they be expected to be a good ruling party? They botched it up from 2000 - 2008.

I am a lifelong true Republican and have an autograph picture of G W & Laura Bush addressed to me and my wife. It is sitting there collecting dusk, of course unframed. In 2008 I voted for Obama over McCain, and this fall I know that I will vote for Barbara Boxer over Carly Fiorina, and for governor, I am not sure: Jerry Brown or Meg Whitman. Meg is a winner while Carly is definitely a mean loser female.

The Republican Party has been hijacked by extreme right wing conservatives who care less about other people but only to their own pocket. Rush Limbaugh makes money by spreading hate, and Sarah Palin exploits lies and hate against Obama and other democrats. The Republican Party's agenda is to destroy the current occupant of the White House. It does not care about the country anymore. Sad indeed for our beloved America.
