The Americans. Are getting a taste for how the Iraqis felt when a foreign army let themselves lose in their country and destroyed their fabric of life. The Blackwater and Halliburton folks ran wild with bullets and killed many innocents. There was no outrage at that time. What we did to Tony Hayward is no different that a shoe being thrown at Bush. It is the display of arrogance that infuriates people. And those who say that O has been slow to react do not say what in their opinion he should do. He had no technology to cap the well. He did have the power to put a moratorium on drilling and he did so pronto.
