I didn't do everything perfectly. But I did address the problem head on as best as I could. And the idea of our government turning down the Dutch offer of state of the art oil skimmers 3 days into the spill blows my fucking mind!! I would have asked how fast can you ge those guys here. Anyone who objected, I would have told them to talk to the governor! And I would have acted as though I had the authority to make the decision. I always said you can get as much done as you are willing to be yelled at for. That is all that will happen. So take charge. Thad Allen is scared to do what needs done.
