“I do have a reason .... namely that a righteous God will judge me ..... in addition, the conscience God gave me, causes me to judge myself.

You’ve admitted you had no reason and this bit of nonsense helps your cause not one whit.

I am quite sure that the Muslims act in good conscience when they seek the death of Jews and infidels. I’m sure the Jews acted in good conscience when they pushed Palestinians out of their home and lands and justified it with superstitious tribal history. I’m sure the Popes and the countless Christian slave buyers and keepers in Europe and North America were also acting in good conscience. And no doubt the murderous wretches who butchered throughout the Crusades and the “Burning Times" of the Witching Hour were all, likewise, acting in the very highest presentiments of upright conscience.

So either conscience has nothing to do with Absolute God myths or there are far too many gods to count…and all pulling in innumerable “moral” directions. Obviously, the only thing your conscience does for YOU is justify whatever supernatural and cultural beliefs that inform your weltanschauung--the same as everyone else.

Additionally, non-Christian cultures have managed to get along fine with their social/cultural/interpersonal morals, and when modern religions have been dead for a thousand years people will still be cooperating under moral laws, rules, and regulations rationally designed to make life safe, happy, meaningful--and in every way worthwhile.

So your conscience idea is babble, pure and simple.

So we return to your other unfathomable statement: “…a righteous God will judge me“?? How in the Hell does that childlike statement purport to represent a reason?? So you believe that someone will judge you? So obviously you would know that breaking the Tenth Commandment and boiling a baby goat in its mothers milk is an obvious evil for anyone with your particular superstitions. But you could still prepare your meat that way if you chose to. You are apparently stating that you don’t practice any morality out of any personal reasons but only because someone who will be judged ought (for some unknown reason) to obey whatever is being dictated by the dictator. But your answer to "Why" seems to be merely, “because”--and if “because” is the only reason you can come up with, then I pity you indeed.

I will try to be moral and not boil a baby goat in milk?? Do you know how lame and pathetic you sound???
