The problem is that the big up days have been low on trading volume too. GDX had its biggest volume today in 9 sessions and in some ways that's not saying much because the volume for this upswing (taking GDX close to the May high) is half the volume of the rally in May:

I'd love to see GDX retest $50 area or move sideways here so that miners wouldn't be so overbought. A sideways down pattern
into opex would set GDX up for a better launch.<BWDIK>
