Obama doesn't want to enforce the laws on the books. If he did, they would be enforced right now.

All the committees in the world are not required for a decision to enforce current law. Besides, all these blue ribbon panels are nothing more than an excuse to delay.

IMO, Obama delays decisions because he hasn't a clue what to do. Except that, in the case of illegal immigration, he wants to swell the ranks of Democrat voters. It's really that simple.

Doesn't it make you even a little bit uneasy to have a President who cannot make a decision without convening a panel of people who, for the most part, don't even have the background to provide intelligent recommendations?

Bush didn't do anything on this issue for 8 years because it would upset Corporate America. This is their source of cheap labor.

You think the Fortune 1000 have lots of illegal workers? The Bush Administration did in fact nail Walmart, but the illegals were working for subcontractors. There are smaller corporations in agriculture, construction, meatpacking, and janitorial services that operate with lots of illegal workers, but that isn't "Corporate America." And many illegal workers are employed by households to do childcare and landscaping in order to avoid payroll taxes.
