If there is a conflict with Iran upcoming, watch for them to use in some way the three American boneheads they captured hiking at the border.

There are a series of minor incidents, usually involving attempted kidnappings, where Tehran backed down at a show of force.

That was all before this current regime was in place, before Ahmadinejad threatened, several times, to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, before the 12ers were put in charge of Iran and have announced their intention to bring about the End of Time.

I don't see them backing down this time around.

I hope I'm wrong.
