Koan is a philosophical flibbertigibbet and belongs to the hippy school of philosophy that advocates what he thinks and feel is so deep he can't convey it - you just have to accept it on faith. The only way to back up the voices in Koan's head is a gun.

Aristotle used a similar argument when discussing philosophy with Alexander the Great who was upset that Aristotle was now publishing a philosophical system taught to him by his paid tutor. He said something to the effect that unless he taught his system personally it would have no meaning and the book was simply so his name would not be forgotten to history.

Gorgias held that nothing could be known and even if it could be known it could not be conveyed. Gorgias seemed to know a lot more than he let on.
