Michael He's got brain freeze. He's worried that the current events are going to interfere with him making money on the oil sands stocks and other stocks. So he and his flock of Ostriches would prefer to ignore the world crumbling around them. The last thing they want to have bothering them is bad news in the world as it might upset their delicate status quo. I think this all started when I suggested that there is no way in hell that Alberta oil is going to flow through BC period, FACT. That effectively puts a lid on tar sands projects getting to market because the Americans will never allow a pipeline through their country. There have already been bombings in Alberta on some pipelines. The majority of people in BC just laugh when this sort of thing happens and secretly cheer for the activists taking on these tyrants who are destroying our world. He's a driller as a profession, a good and capable one, but he's not too good at understanding the fundamentals of what affects the markets but funny that he posts articles on current events from time to time himself. In reality, his board is somewhat useful to see what's hot each day but everyone there is posting alerts their favorite stock moving which is of no use really. Recently everyone was hyping GPG for weeks and everyone except me loaded up and then were disappointed when they found out that with all their hype they couldn't move the stock an inch despite the long awaited news coming out. Interesting that this post of mine Message 26631653 has more recommendations than anything posted on that board in weeks.
