Some of the items in that REAL STORY don't add up. Like: "General McChrystal was most definitely a 'Bushie,' and he is for some stupid reason, strongly backed by Hillary Clinton.' ... Ehhh a definite Bushie who voted for Obama and strongly backed by HC? I also don't get: "It was Obama versus the Pentagon, and the Pentagon was determined to kick the president's ass." That seems more than a little bit disfunction for the Commander and Chief. Obama versus the Pentagon??? Or: "The war in Afghanistan is a pointless money pit with no end in sight and no discernible standard of victory, and both the soldiers on the ground and even McChrystal himself do not deny the likelihood of this reality." The point has been broadly articulated, you may not agree with it but ... And: "The war in Afghanistan is therefore a huge political-albatross-in-the-making for Obama here at home." Ok, that seems like a true statement but what does it have to do with the RS article?
