This is when the military is called upon to deliver. If they become renegades and keep asking for more and more in spite of all the heavy investments made by the taxpayers, then it should be OK to call off the war and pull back. After all, it sends a bad image when the mightiest military in the world has to spend trillions to fight a rag tag military such as the Taliban. Can we even perceive that a one-eyed fakir called Mullah Omar escaped from the clutches of the highteched US military by using a motorbike??!!! If the US military focussed on fighting the war, the war would have over by now. And the folks from Blackwater and Halliburton would not have filled their pockets at the expense of the American taxpayer and driven up the huge deficits that we see today.
