More talk on de-coupling from Asian markets on CNBC. Be sure of a 100pt down at opening. May not let the tail wag the dog this time.
Maybe Greenspan will say the right things in Germany today and
the employment report comes in well.

Thanks for your insight.. and it probably means back to usual domestic indicators that influence the market-I hope HK was down 2.9% just a few minutes ago (was 5 %) most of Europe down and I'll watch the employment numbers... getting where i know most CNBC reporters by their name
and i didn't put in a stop loss cause I will ride this one out but will heed your advice in a couple of others I will note to watch what happens around this time (SP futures down 14.5 )
I'm studying- reading statistical techniques and attempting fundamental approach (slow on going learning process for me but very valuable )-- however it is the psychology of this market that i can't get a handle on-- at least i think its like a girlfriend you can never please--- try try just when you think you understand her needs she changes her mind--after a while (rather quickly) its just I do what I want if you don't like it leave .But with this girl friend (the market)its please don't go you got my money .SO I'll have to figure her out.

Will be going back to my little corner until I find good raw data for this thread

good trading

TG, Curly, All <the best tactic is to kill the stop loss order>

Exactly right Bruce. I'm convinced there is no way these guys are going to leave this thing without first making a stop run, and this looks like a gift opportunity to do so.

And if there is a real problem here (world, not Cymer) it has much more to do with S. Korea's incestuous chaebol and the solvency of Japanese banks than it does with anything happening in Hong Kong.
