"This was a tiny, wasted piece of land until the Jews returned."

Learn something other than Israeli propaganda.

It's true that with the influx of the Jews and their money and need for housing and infrastructure, plus immense financial support from Jews worldwide, Palestine was developed. But, it was a beautiful place prior, with a large native population living happily.

Consider how you would feel if Arkansas were invaded by Scientologists, who put you in a gulag and demolished your house, treating you like a criminal second-class citizen, restricting your travel and visitors?

I care about Israel only in that, why the hell are they OUR problem?

"There is no need to be "thrilled" with Israel, however, the persistent pro-Palestinian tilt of Western Liberals is without justification and is tantamount to anti-Semitism. "

Bullshit. Opposing Israel has nothing to do with being pro-Palestinian. Recognizing that Israel has gone off the reservation more than once doesn't either. So you can take your anti-Semitism and shove it up your ass.

"This was a tiny, wasted piece of land until the Jews returned."

So? What does that have to do with anything?
