Special Payouts
I believe special payouts will not occur. The CEO of IMRS owns over 50% of the stock in IMRS. There is no way he wants dividend income taxable at the maximum ordinary income tax rate. Most ofthe y2k providers have very high ownership. These people are interested in maximizing long term capital gains. When I spoke with the Chairman in September he told me IMRS can become a 2 Billion company if they make the right strategic investments and execute their current strategy . IMRS today has a market capitalization of 500mm$.I will be content to pay 340,000 $ in long term capital gains on my current portfols goals are met in exchange for not getting 26,000$ if a special 2$ dividend were granted
