I do hope you're right. I am very religious about the OS on my computers :-)
Hence I am a little worried that, in the long term, NT will take a more central role at SGI.

Yes, I know it is not an original idea. It has been done before - someone (can't remember the name) had an NT machine with choice of MIPS or Alpha CPU. I suppose the difficult bit would be matching the memory bus to 2 completely different processor architectures.

I'm sure the appropriate people in SGI have much better ideas.
