I am tired today; and perplexed about Obama.

I saw Peter Orzag is quitting. He was the one I liked the most.

We liberals are really in a pinch. The entire right wing philosophy is a complete vacuum. If anyone doubts that, try and think of one conservative giant thinker. There are none and for a logical reason, there is no great right wing philosophy.

Some will say David Brooks. Brooks is a very lightweight thinker and really more of a moderate. And even the moderates only have a few mediocre thinkers, like their philosophy. No big thinkers. They are all on the left.

So the liberals have no place to go but Obama. And as liberals tend to think, we can see clearly his policies do not reflect much of what we believe. Obama's policies are not matching his campaign rhetoric.

The grand irony is that just as Obama seems to have some blind spots about policy, he may find out his inattention to we liberals may cost him a second term.

And I know if the right wing gets back in power we could be doomed.
