An appointment is not an election! What stupidity you get yourself into. Would you rather say that he was appointed as Attorney General by Oglesby Yes. That would be truthful. Your claim he was elected was a lie. Your new claim that an appointment is an election is a lie too. Lies are all you have. Did you notice Ingersoll was the last appointed AG in IL? Hmm, did Ingersoll so embarrass the state they took the power of appointing the AG away from the governor's office? Ingersoll's most noted legal work was defending corrupt grafters from prosecution.
