g'morning Iris & all - Iris, yes, I underestimate the collective resentment of ASS-END mgt, including myself <vbg>. I think it is ok earningwise, if it moves quickly to consolidate the merged co. Unfortunately, you are right, the mgt is highly untrustworthy at this point. Evidently the ASND guy is not a whole lot better than the CSCC guy. For the last 3 days, ASND mgt spoke out of several sides of the mouth - confusion is worse than bad news. Thought the worst was over 2 days ago, then Mssr Schneider opened his mouth again =8^< Don't know what to do yet.

p.s. ASND thread is getting too heated. Think I will stay away for awhile.

Hello Iris~ I appreciate your analogy of the PAIR/ASND similarities. Bosco and I were both frisky back then, having re-purchased PAIR a few months ago around 20 after we'd both made an earlier killing on it. The subsequent slide and hold at 14 taught us both a bit about ourselves, but we both held on despite prospects and bad pr, and eventually sold at a nice profit after some HARD and depressing times.
That was a bleak period.

If I remember correctly, Crossy also ceased selling naked puts after PAIR, so this thread all learned some lessons applicable to ASND as it could unfold now. Conclusion? I think we'll be 'crying all the way to the bank' with ASND come Feb or March. <ggg>

Anyhow, I couldn't resist re-entering SLB again today at this pullback. I was hoping for CDG also, but the options prices reminded me of JBIL price insanity. All the JBIL momentem boys must be stalking CDG now. Too rich for my blood. I'll leave that one for you!

Have a good weekend,

Rick
