I would agree if he had hired an escort service. But the massage business has matured and it's perfectly reasonable to obtain a professional massage at an upscale hotel at any time of the day or night. Gore just wasn't expecting to find a "locked box" when he did. :o)

He's old school, and still thought the massage business was dominated by seedy prostitutes. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but it's not the norm and not expected. Besides, doesn't "no" mean no?

I'll bet Tipper didn't like hearing about it and gave him the boot....

I disagree. Prostitute or legitimate massage therapist, No means No.

If any part of this story is true, it reflects on Al Gore's character and nobody else's.

Besides, Portland has a history of arresting the johns instead of the hookers.
