The reason mysticism always win is the fact we are hardwired to believe in the supernatural. Once you believe in tarot cards, anthropogenic global warming or the infallibility of the pope there is no hope for you. What you have now is different prognosticators of equally silly ideas arguing about who is right when in fact both are completely wrong.

However there is no way to prove God does not exist and there is no way to prove that he does exist. No matter what reason dictates the evidence is to the contrary.

For a small fee I could represent and defend Christ much better than gregor-ee. Miracles don't happen for free you know.
