>>Govt. is at least neutral, by default, as we have no one else trying to save the gulf.<<

the federal government is preventing the states from saving portions of the gulf.

bad.

the government regulators completely failed.

bad.

the government is letting bp boss everyone around.

bad.

the government is allowing bp to use toxins as dispersant.

bad.

the government allows bp advisors to pay millions to public servants under the table (rahm's apartment).

bad.

two bads don't make a right, let alone 5 - and i could go on.

the federal government won't let this crisis go to waste - per rahm's own words.

youtube.com

NEVER is the operative word.

time to push the carbon tax (on the little people - the oligarchs just pocketed their trillions and someone has to pay!) and end competition for the feudal lords' mega corporations.

i never took you for a tax the poor to pay the criminal billionaire classes bad bets type.

isn't it odd that you eagerly support an administration that is doing just that?

reverse robin hood.

over 20k people have been killed along the border due to america's insane drug laws propping up the drug market and the lax enforcement of the border.

the problem is that $500 billion +/- is being made off poppies grown by obama's military forces - and the banks need the cash for when we collapse again.

if they decriminalize the drugs, the drug profits and violence both go away.

obama owns the thousands being killed in the drug war - and he doesn't care a lick or he'd make some change we can believe in.

he's mr. status quo.

gitmo close yet? the only change is that the brain washed democrats simply don't care about gitmo - it was simply a partisan talking point, not any kind of actual moral objection.

bad.

NEVER let a big crisis go to waste.

"give the bankers your tax money and allow my biggest contributor and god's worker, goldman sachs, to rig another market or you small people will lose your gulf. this crisis will not go to waste, you small people."
