I tried that last yr. Can't catch it right. Lost a bundle telling myself rates can't go any lower----wrong. As long as we have the ability to buy our own bonds we can keep interest rates down. Only when independent OS buyers start demanding more for their investments will rates move up. We may be seeing that beginning to happen, as I heard of several interest rate hikes in other countries (Not PIIGS). If I were China and Russia I'd buy those bonds before I'd buy ours, but then I'm not in charge and have a hard time with my own finances.
